Jakarta 2017: All-New 2017 Toyota Voxy Introduced - CBU Japan, 2.0L CVT

Toyota Astra Motor, Indonesia's official Toyota importer and distributor has introduced the all-new 2017 Toyota Voxy at the ongoing Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. The new imported from Japan Toyota Voxy will supersede the older Toyota NAV1, which was a locally-assembled version of an earlier generation Toyota Noah - itself a twin model to the Toyota Voxy. In Japan, the Voxy and Noah, along with the Esquire are triplets of the same model, each sold with a slightly different exterior design and sold at separate Toyota dealer networks - Netz, Corolla and Toyopet dealers respectively.

Available in just one trim, the Toyota Voxy is powered by a 2.0-litre 3ZR-FAE four-cylinder petrol engine that does 152 PS and 193 Nm, sent to the front wheels via a CVT-type automatic transmission. 

The Toyota Voxy is positioned above the Toyota Sienta, but below the Toyota Alphard in Toyota Indonesia's lineup, challenging the likes of the Nissan Serena and Mazda Biante. 

Equipment wise, the Toyota Voxy is generously equipped with smart entry with push start button, full colour multi-info display, triple zone auto air-conditioning, double moonroof, cruise control, reverse camera, all-round auto power windows, seven airbags, Emergency Brake Signal, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist. Similar to the Toyota Sienta, the Toyota Voxy also gets two power sliding doors, on each side of the MPV. 

In Indonesia, the Voxy retails at IDR 446,000,000 (~RM143,456).
